Where I Buy My Sports Bras

I feel like a good sports bra is essential to a good workout. If your sports bra isn’t comfortable, supportive, and cute… then your workout just isn’t going to be the same. Your boobies are going to be flinging all over the place (which hurts like hell btw, fellas), you’re forever going to be adjusting your straps to make it more comfortable, AND if you’re like me and like to be able to strip right down to your sports bra mid workout because you got too sweaty – if your bra isn’t cute you’re not going to want to show it off and you’re going to end up a sweaty mess.

Now, buying a good sports bra doesn’t have to break the bank (unless you were blessed with big tatas… I’m so sorry, I know y’all pay upwards of $60 for your sports bras). Let me rephrase then… buying a good sports bra doesn’t have to break the bank if you’re a part of the itty bitty titty committee. Yay for small boobies!

I usually get my sports bras from one of 3 or 4 places, depending on how much I’m wanting to spend.

Old Navy

If you’ve never shopped in Old Navy’s sportwear section before (guy or girl)… what is you doinnn?! My fiance has this athletic shirt from Old Navy in literally every single colour – that’s how much he loves it.

I regularly buy my gym leggings from here as well – I talk about them in my Gym Leggings For Every Budget post!

I shit you not, Old Navy sports bras are on par with Lululemon sports bras, maybe even slightly better. They’re supportive, comfortable, super inexpensive and definitely cute enough to show off at the gym.

I would say that if you’re on a budget, or actually, even if you’re not on a budget, Old Navy sports bras definitely give you the most bang for your buck. If I was only ever allowed to buy sports bras from Old Navy for the rest of my life, I wouldn’t be mad.

Lululemon

Now, before you completely skip past this section because you know Lulu is expensive, let me just let you in on a little secret – I have never paid full price for a Lululemon sports bra. Actually, I’ve never paid full price for a Lululemon anything. Don’t get me wrong, their product is killer, but not $50-80 for a sports bra killer.

I either buy my Lulu at their outlet locations, or I thrift it.

The only thing that Lulu does a little better than Old Navy is how soft their products are – there’s just something about the material of Lulu that makes it so luxurious. However, I would say they’re not quite as supportive as Old Navy (unless you get a full coverage bra) as Lulu is really more of a a yoga based brand, not intense workout brand.

Forever 21

Forever 21 does an amazing job with how cute their sports bras are, however with their super-cuteness comes a not-so-supportiveness. I love my F21 sports bras but I usually only wear them on days where I know I’m not going to be doing a lot of jumping around/cardio/anything intense. I usually save my F21 sports bras for an upper body/ab session, or for those athleisure fashion days.

They are usually really affordable, though, between $20-30.

90 Degrees

I’ve had both leggings and sports bras from this brand before and they’ve never disappointed. They’re super affordable, especially when you purchase them in places like Marshalls or Winners!

The material is always super soft, and I’d say they’re pretty supportive too. The one I currently have has a nice little ladder style detail on it as well which provides style and extra support!

Speaking of Marshalls, if you’re looking for higher end sports bras or “name brand” active wear – Marshalls almost always carries those brands as well at a discounted price! I have gotten Nike, Adidas, and Under Armour active wear from there on numerous occasions all for a fraction of the cost!

Until next time
